Recipes Easy Apple Strudel (Dessert)

    • Cooking Spray
    • 2 Sheets Phyllo dough, thawed
    • 1 large apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
    • 1 tablespoon sugar (can use two packets artificial sugar)
    • 2 teaspoons cinnamon



Heat oven to 400o.  Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and lay one sheet of phyllo dough on it.  Spray the phyllo with cooking spray, top with the second sheet of p;hyllo and spray again.  Layer the apple, artificial sweetener, and cinnamon on the phyllo and roll into a log.  Lay seam-side down and fold in the ends.  Spray the outside of the log with cooking spray and cut four angled slashes through the top.  Bake until golden brown, 6-8 minutes.  Slice the strudel into four equal portions and serve.
