Recipes Oven-Baked Sweet Potato Fries (Extras)

    •  1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    •  1 tbsp. vegetable oil
    •  1/2 tsp. salt
    •  2 large (about 1 1/2-lb.) sweet potatoes
    •  1/4 tsp. ground red pepper

In a small bowl, combine cumin, salt and red pepper. Set aside. Preheat oven to 400° F. Peel sweet potatoes, cut each in half lengthwise, and then cut each half into 6 wedges. In a large bowl, combine the cut potatoes, oil and spice mixture. Toss until the potatoes are evenly coated. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet and place the sheet on the middle shelf of the oven. Bake until the edges are crisp and the potatoes are cooked through (about 30 minutes).
