Recipes Shrimp Scampi (Entree)

    • 1 lb. large fresh uncooked shrimp, de-veined
    • 1 tsp. olive oil
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp. margarine, melted
    • 1/4 tsp. black pepper, freshly ground
    • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
    • 1/4 cup white cooking wine



Combine margarine, oil, garlic, cooking wine and pepper in a large bowl. Add shrimp and toss lightly to coat. Spread a single layer of shrimp in a shallow, oven-safe casserole dish. Broil shrimp approximately 4 inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn shrimp and broil for an additional 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve.
