Recipes Italian Breaded Snapper (Entree)

    • 1 lb. Red snapper, cut into 4 fillets
    • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon or lime juice
    • 1/2 cup salt
    • 1/2 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
    • 1 tbsp. olive oil



Rinse fish fillets and pat dry with paper towel.  Combine breadcrumbs with salt in small plate.  Dip fillets in lemon or lime juice, then dip in breadcrumbs to coat.  Heat oil in large nonstick skillet.  Cook fillets over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes each side, turning once (about 10 minutes total for 1-inch thick fillets or until flakey when tested with fork).
