Recipes French Style Green Beans (Holidays, Side dish, Vegetarian)

Number of Servings
    •     6 cup green beans, cut into 2-in. pieces (about 1 pound)
    •     1 tsp. olive oil
    •     1/2 cup sliced green onions
    •     4 garlic cloves, crushed
    •     3 cup plum tomatoes, seeded and thinly sliced (about 1 pound)
    •     2 tsp. dried leaf basil
    •     1/4 tsp. salt
    •     1/4 tsp. black pepper



Steam green beans for about 5 minutes or until tender. Heat oil in large saucepan and sauté onions and garlic for about a minute over medium heat. Add beans and sauté an additional 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients; sauté for 2 more minutes.
