Recipes Pesto Sauce (Extras)

    •  2 cloves garlic
    •  1 tsp. salt
    •  3 cups packed basil leaves
    •  2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    •  2 Tbsp. pine nuts
    •  1/2 cup olive oil
    •  1/2 cup finely grated fresh Parmesan cheese
    •  2 Tbsp. hot cooking liquid

Put all the ingredients, except cheese, in a blender. Blend, pushing down with a rubber spatula until mixture is thoroughly pureed. Beat in the cheese. Add 2 Tbsp. of the hot cooking liquid from pasta to the sauce before mixing it with the pasta.
